
The week of June 7th, 2016, Chatham Inn and Cuvée at Chatham Inn put on an incredible Back to the Future event to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research. The week-long event was hosted by actor Christopher Lloyd (“Doc Brown”), and the writer and producer of Back to the Future, Bob Gale. We are excited to share that with your help we were able to raise almost $50,000! Thank you to everyone for contributing to the success of this special event! Here’s a quick recap of the of the festivities for anyone who missed it:
Tuesday and Thursday: ZD Wine Pairing Dinner with the Stars
A spectacular evening of Food and ZD Wine at Cuvée at Chatham Innwith Doc Brown himself, Christopher Lloyd, and writer/producer of back to the Future, Bob Gale. The evening started with a cocktail party, before moving in to the chic dining room for an incredible 4 course dinner prepared by our chefs! In addition to the exquisite cuisine and libations, each guest got a personal photo with the special celebrity guests.
Wednesday: Back to the Future Screening & Exclusive Q&A
Guests could choose from:
A screening of Back to the Future at the Chatham Orpheum Theatre followed by a Q&A with actor Christopher Lloyd and writer/producer Bob Gale
An intimate cocktail party and Q&A session with the celebrities followed by a screening of the movie in the smaller theater
All Week: DeLorean Time Machine Photos & Rides
The DeLorean Time Machine used in the movie was on display at our Chatham bed and breakfast for the entire week. Guests had the option to take photos inside or even go for a ride in exchange for their donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
